Stefaan De Corte

Stefaan De Corte is a commercial engineer of the University of Leuven (1998-2003) and also holds a master’s degree in European Economics of the Free University of Brussels (2004). Stefaan has extensive experience with performance evaluations and formulation and optimisation of both public policy as well as executive agencies. Stefaan has been a business analyst and process manager for 2,5 years at a local branch of a global fast moving consumer goods company, before being a policy and evaluation consultant. Prior to joining CES, Stefaan was economic policy adviser to the Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Vice-Prime Minister. Since June 2011, Stefaan is a CES senior research officer responsible for CES’ work in the fields of economic and social policy and environment and energy. Since 2009 Stefaan is as well chairman of the board of the Brussels Enterprise Agency, a governmental executive agency assisting start-ups and SME’s to grow their business in the Brussels Capital Region and beyond.
