André P. Debattista

André P. Debattista is a political scientist and occasional columnist who serves as a Martens Centre Research Associate. He was previously a Visiting Fellow at the Martens Centre and an Assistant Lecturer at the Institute for European Studies at the University of Malta. He is the author of two edited books, several scholarly papers and press commentaries covering the themes of politics, small-states, international relations and the dynamics of religion and public life. He is a member of the Political Studies Association and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is currently reading for a doctorate in Political Science.
