André P. Debattista

André P. Debattista is a political scientist who serves as a Martens Centre Research Associate and is a Lecturer at the Institute for European Studies at the University of Malta. He was previously a Visiting Fellow at the Martens Centre and is the author of four edited books, several scholarly papers and press commentaries covering the themes of politics, international relations, culture and identity. He has also been involved in various research projects with different organisations including the Commonwealth Secretariat, the V-Dem Institute at the University of Gothenburg and the CamforS (Campaigning for Strasbourg) network.
