Extending the Green Deal: Reducing Moldovan energy dependencies on Russia

You can re-watch the entire event’s live-stream below:

The event is aimed at discussing how the EU can facilitate access to Green Deal opportunities for enlargement countries, with a special focus on Moldova. The overarching perspective is that enlargement countries can align with EU standards and already make use of budgeted opportunities during the enlargement process, which would also help reduce their energy dependencies from Russia. This would not only help enlargement countries align with the EU faster and meet expected milestones, but it would also help the EU meet the green and security goals it has set for itself by creating a political and geographical environment that is conducive to achieving these aims.

Therefore, the event will discuss the Green Deal and energy security in our neighbourhood. The event will comprise a panel discussion and will be followed by a Q&A with the audience.
