Vladimír Šimoňák
Vladimír Šimoňák is currently head of the Crisis Management Unit at the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Between 2008 and July 2021 he was with the Slovak Ministry of the Interior. In 2011 he assumed responsibility for the last-mentioned ministry’s European policies and was posted to Brussels in 2015. A graduate of law and international relations, he has developed expertise in the European politics of migration and asylum.
