Tomas Tobé

Tomas Tobé is a Swedish MEP of the Moderate Party (EPP Group). Since his election in 2019, Tobé has served as chairman of the Committee on Development. In this capacity, he co-chairs the Democracy Support and Election Coordination Group (DEG), which oversees the Parliament’s election observation missions. Tobé also sits on the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs. He has been serving as rapporteur on asylum and migration for the LIBE Committee since December 2020.
