
Siegfried Mureşan
Siegfried Mureşan is a Member of the European Parliament for the EPP Group. He serves as Vice President of the Budgets Committee and substitute Member in the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs. Prior to his election to the European Parliament in May 2014, he served as Senior political advisor for Economic and Social Policy at the headquarters of the European People’s Party. A Romanian national, Siegfried graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest in 2004 and continued his studies with a Master in Economics and Management Science at Humboldt University in Berlin.
