Oxana Schmies

Dr. Oxana Schmies studied International Relations in Ekaterinburg and completed her PhD in Modern History at Max-Weber-Kolleg in Erfurt. She held post-doctoral positions at the University of Erfurt, Humboldt University of Berlin, and the Center of Liberal Modernity (LibMod) in Berlin. She lives in Berlin, where she writes political analyses as a freelance author and researches Germany`s policy toward Russia.
