Federico Ottavio Reho

Before joining the Centre in April 2015, Federico Ottavio Reho worked in the EU Institutions and Fora Division of the European Central Bank. He also worked as a trainee for a Member of the European Parliament (MEP), as well as in the political section of the US Diplomatic Mission to Italy. An Italian national, he studied in Italy, France, the UK and Germany. He earned a Master of Public Administration in European Economic Policy from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a Master of Public Policy with specialization in EU Economic Governance from the Hertie School of Governance (Berlin), both in 2013. He also has a Master in European Studies at the Luiss School of Government in Rome (2010-11) and spent a semester at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Strasbourg (2009-10).
Besides his policy interests in the politics and political economy of the EU, Federico Ottavio is passionate about the political and economic history of modern Europe with a specific attention to liberal and conservative movements and ideas. He speaks fluent Italian, English and French, and he has an intermediate knowledge of German. Since 2018, he has also been a D.Phil. candidate in history at St Anthony’s College, University of Oxford.
