Christophe Christiaens

Christophe Christiaens is a Belgian national and joined the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies as an intern in January 2013. He holds a Masters in European Studies and a Masters in Public Management from Ghent University, as well as a postgraduate Master of Arts in European Political and Administrative studies from the College of Europe in Bruges. His main interests include Euroscepticism, Economic governance, CSDP and political campaigning.

Prior to joining the Martens Centre, Christophe interned at the European Association of Cooperative Banks (EACB) and at the EU desk of the Flemish public broadcaster VRT. He speaks Dutch, English and French and has a basic knowledge of German. In his free time Christophe is active in the youth movement of the Christian-Democratic political party CD&V and volunteers for a number of civil society organisations.
