Alessia Setti

Alessia Setti is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at the University of Lausanne and a former team member of the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies. She holds a BA in Economics and Social Sciences from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and an MA in European Studies from Maastricht University. Before joining the Martens Centre, she was an intern at the EPP Group in the European Committee of the Regions and at the office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Rome. Her research interests revolve around European integration, subsidiarity and cohesion policy, and cross-border cooperation. Besides her native Italian, Alessia speaks English, German, and French and she is a beginner in Dutch.
