4th EU Migration Policy Briefing

On 3 December 2025 in Brussels, the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (Europe Office) hosted the quarterly EU Migration Policy Briefing at the Martens Centre. The session addressed how labour immigration fits into Europe’s demographic decline and persistent labour and skills shortages, and explored practical questions around political acceptance, administrative simplification, talent attraction, intra-EU mobility for non-EU workers, family reunification, and integration. The keynote discussion featured Maxime Cerruti (BusinessEurope), followed by an interactive debate moderated by Dr Friedrich Püttmann (KAS Europe Office).
