Roberto Mazzotta
Roberto Mazzotta, born in Milano, got his degree in Economics at Università Bocconi, Milan. In 1972 he was elected in Parliament (Camera dei Deputati) and he was confirmed in his role for the next three legislatures. He was appointed Undersecretary of Stete in 1974 and Minister in 1980. In 1986 he was elected President of Cariplo and later was appointed President of Associazione delle Casse di Risparmio (Association of mutual savings banks) and of Istituto Internazionale delle Casse di Risparmio (International association of mutual savings banks) and Vice President of IMI. He has been President of Banca Popolare di Milano and Vice President of ABI. In 2010 he was appointed President of Mediocredito Italiano (Intesa SanPaolo group). From 2009 he is President of Istituto Luigi Sturzo.
