Loredana Teodorescu joined the Centre as a Visiting Fellow in May 2016. Her main areas of expertise are migration, asylum, linkages between European internal security and external relations, borders, and neighbourhood policies, and she has a keen interest in gender issues.
Since the end of 2010, she works as European Research Project Coordinator at Istituto Luigi Sturzo in Rome, where she has been in charge of different initiatives promoted by the Italian Ministry of Interior on migration. She also collaborates with the EU law chair and the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at the University of Roma Tre. She worked for the Italian Presidency of the EU in 2014, and she has been collaborating with different NGOs and think tanks.
Loredana obtained a Master in International Relations with a focus on EU Policies and Institutions, and a Bachelor in Political Science from the University of Roma Tre. She is currently finishing her PhD, focused on migration in the EU external action.
