Climate protection

Climate change and the energy crisis. Mobility and carbon emissions. Biodiversity loss and food safety. These topics, which concern many people in their daily lives, require a closer look. The Wilfried Martens Centre, together with the Political Academy is hosting a wide-ranging conference to address different aspects of climate protection on the occasion of current developments regarding the European Green Deal.

Topics to be addressed include how climate protection can be economically viable, how people’s mobility can be maintained and food safety can be guaranteed. The social impact of the climate change issue will also be analysed. Between climate campaigners and climate deniers, this conference will focus on a middle-class approach to climate protection.
