Alois Mock´s Legacy: The Western Balkans at a Glance

On 8 March, the Martens Centre and the Political Academy of the Austrian People´s Party began a series of lectures divided in four sessions. The lectures, under the theme “Alois Mock’s Legacy: The Western Balkans at a Glance” were held online by prominent academics each Monday evening throughout the month of March. Each session was devoted to exploring the rich history of the former Yugoslavia and its successor states, the EU accession process, the importance of external actors in the region, as well as cooperation and tensions within the Western Balkans.
