Urmi Tat

Urmi Tat is a digital public policy professional specialising in digital governance, artificial intelligence policy, and international technology cooperation. She is an EU–India Young Leader (2026–27) under the European Union Delegation to India and a former US–India AI Fellow with the Observer Research Foundation America. Her professional experience includes serving as a trade negotiator for the United Kingdom, working on strategic policy initiatives with the India Semiconductor Mission, and as a researcher for the Centre for Air Power Studies, Indian Air Force. Her research and writing examine the intersection of emerging technologies, public policy, and the India–Europe strategic relationship.
