Silva Mertsola

Silva Mertsola is a public governance expert working at Demos Helsinki, an international think tank. She also serves as the Deputy Secretary General of Youth EPP. She studied political science at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. Her main interests lie at the intersection of political thought and public policy, reflecting in her Philosophy and Public Policy Master’s at the London School of Economics. Within politics, Silva has been serving as international secretary of the Youth of the National Coalition Party since 2020, and she is currently a deputy member of the Helsinki City Council.
