Razeen Sally
Razeen Sally is director of the European Centre for International Political Economy, now Europe’s leading trade-policy think tank, which he co-founded in 2006. He has held additional teaching, research and advisory positions at universities and think tanks in the USA, Europe, Africa and Asia. His research and teaching focus on global trade policy and Asia in the world economy. He has written extensively on the WTO, FTAs, and on different aspects of trade policy in Asia. He has also written on the history of economic ideas, especially the theory of commercial policy. He has been a consultant for governments, international organisations and businesses in Europe and Asia, and comments regularly on international economic issues in the media. He is also senior lecturer in international political economy at the LSE and head of its International Trade Policy Unit. He is visiting professor at the Institut D’Etudes Politiques in Paris, and atTallinn Technical University in Estonia; and was visiting senior research fellow at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, Singapore. He also was research fellow at the European Institute of Business Administration in Fontainebleau, France,and visiting assistant professor at Dartmouth College in the USA.
