Raluca Grosescu

Raluca Grosescu is President of the RESPIRO Human Rights Centre, Romania. She holds a Phd. in political science from the University Paris X – Nanterre and is an associated research fellow with the Institut des Sciences Sociales du Politique, CNRS. The most recent book published by Dr. grosescu is entitled “Les communistes dans l’après-communisme. Trajectoires de conversion politique de la nomenklatura roumaine après 1989”, Paris, Michel Houdiard, 2012. She is interested in transitional justice, political elites studies and the transition to democratic societies and is a frequent speakers on these topics, including in the European Parliament.
