Paul Irwin Crookes

Dr Paul Irwin Crookes is an experienced China business and academic specialist, combining university research and lecturing duties with consulting projects for China Business Solutions, based at the St John’s Innovation Centre in Cambridge. Here, he works to create successful engagement and partnership strategies for Chinese and European innovation and technology companies. He was awarded his PhD from the Centre of International Studies, University of Cambridge, in 2007. His research interests focus on the economic and technological development of China and India, with a particular focus on the software industries in these two countries. He maintains an ongoing academic affiliation as an Associate with the Centre of International Studies at the University of Cambridge, where he leads lectures and seminars on international economics and the external relations of East Asia, whilst also supervising theses for Master’s students.
