Michaela Knošková

Michaela grew up in Slovakia, where she co-founded the Institute for Sustainable Democracy at the age of 16. She is currently the Executive Director and Head of Research at the Institute, striving to empower youth to promote participation and loosen the gap between political elites and citizens in Slovakia. She is a final-year Politics student at King’s College London, focusing on democratisation, socio-economic inequality, and EU foreign policy. Michaela is a former Youth Delegate to the Council of Europe and Slovak Young Europe Ambassador working on the recommendations to the Future of Europe. She has professional experience from the European Parliament, the National Council of the Slovak Republic, and the Office of the Slovak Public Defender of Rights.
