Masafumi Ishii

Masafumi Ishii has been the Ambassador of Japan to Belgium and NATO since September 2014. He joined Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1980, and his overseas posts have included Washington, DC and London. Before being posted to Brussels, he was the Legal Adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
