Maksym Beznosiuk

Maksym Beznosiuk is a strategic policy analyst specialising in Russia, Ukraine, hybrid warfare, and international security. He is an Associate Fellow at GLOBSEC and a Contributing Analyst at the Jamestown Foundation. He has authored over 100 articles and reports for leading think tanks, outlets, and policy platforms, including he Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies, RUSI, the Atlantic Council, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the National Interest,  CEPA, the Jamestown Foundation, GLOBSEC, ISPI, the Foreign Policy Centre, Fondation pour la Recherche Stratégique, New Eastern Europe, Visegrad Insight, The Loop/ECPR, NATO Watch, E-International Relations, and Kyiv Post.

His work focuses on Russia’s military and hybrid strategy, Ukrainian defence, Russian domestic and foreign policy, China-Russia strategic convergence, societal resilience, and EU-Ukraine cooperation. His analysis has been cited, featured, republished, and translated by more than 50 media, academic, and policy platforms across 26 countries, including BBC News, Sky News, The Telegraph, Fox News, ABC News Australia, Le Figaro, The Japan Times, and Russia Matters at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center.

He holds an LL.M. from the University of Edinburgh, a Double MA in European Studies (Euroculture) from Uppsala University and Jagiellonian University, and Bachelor’s and Specialist degrees in public international law from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He is a recipient of several prestigious scholarships, including the Chevening Scholarship (UK Government) and the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship (EU Commission).
