Maksym Beznosiuk
Maksym Beznosiuk is a strategic policy expert and Director of UAinFocus, an independent platform connecting Ukrainian and international experts around key issues facing Ukraine. He has authored numerous publications, the most recent being “Securing Europe’s Critical Minerals: Leveraging the EU-Ukraine Partnership Amidst US Competition.”
He previously served as a Research Analyst at ACAPS and an Atlas Corps Fellow at NCSEJ in Washington, D.C., where he focused on analysing political and socio-economic trends in the post-Soviet space, particularly in Ukraine and Russia.
Maksym holds a Bachelor’s and Specialist Degrees in International Relations and International Law from the Institute of International Relations at Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University. He also earned an LL.M. in Global Environment and Climate Change Law from the University of Edinburgh as a Chevening Scholar, as well as a Double MA in European Studies (Euroculture) from Uppsala University and Jagiellonian University, both of which are part of the Erasmus Mundus program.
His expertise includes Ukraine’s reconstruction and recovery, EU-Ukraine cooperation, humanitarian response, international security, energy policy, and innovation and science policy.
