Leszek Jesień

Leszek Jesień is a political scientist and coordinator for the EU at the Polish Institute of International Affairs. He is also a lecturer at Collegium Civitas and National College of Public Adminstration. Jesien is a former advisor to Prime Ministers Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz and Jerzy Buzek, and former Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. He advised the governments of Montenegro, Romania and Croatia on issues related to European integration. He is an author of numerous scholarly publications on the European Union and his research includes history, institutions and policies of the European Union.
