Katherine Clerides

Kaiti Clerides studied sociology in London and Political Science in New York. She is vice president of Democratic Rally (DISY) as well as a member of the Central Committee and Political Bureau of the DISY. She is a prominent campaigner for women’s rights within the group. She has played a leading role in reconciliation efforts between the Greek Cypriot and the Turkish Cypriot communities and is a member of the Initiative Group, a body dedicated to improving intercommunity relations.
