José María Aznar
José María Aznar is the former Prime Minister of Spain. Throughout his two terms he led an important process of economic and social reform. One of José María Aznar’s most serious concerns is the fight against terrorism. He advocates a firm policy, one that is against any kind of political concession, combined with close international cooperation between democratic countries. He is a strong supporter of the transatlantic relationship. He is the Honorary Chairman of Partido Popular, a party he chaired between 1990 and 2004 and a holder of many awards. He is also Executive President of FAES, a member foundation of the Martens Centre.
