George Dimakos
Project Officer
George Dimakos is a Project Officer at the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies in Brussels.
He holds an MSc in European Public Policy and Politics from University College London (UCL), a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Université Paris Nord, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
George has worked as an EU policy consultant in Brussels and Athens and has completed traineeships at the European Commission, the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Bank of Greece. He has also conducted research as a Research Fellow at the Institute of International Economic Affairs, the Hellenic Association of SA and Entrepreneurship, and the Institute of Democracy, Konstantinos Karamanlis. He is a member of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Alumni Network.
His main areas of interest include geoeconomic strategy, European strategic autonomy, Common Foreign and Security Policy.
He speaks Greek, English, and French, and is currently learning Italian. He is actively engaged in volunteer initiatives promoting sustainability, social justice, and gender equality.
