Gabriella Ventaloro
Communications Intern
Gabriella Ventaloro joined the Martens Centre in September 2026. She holds a Master’s degree in Multilingual Communication, specialising in international relations with Central and Eastern Europe, from KU Leuven, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Languages and Communication. Before joining the Martens Centre, she worked as a Communication Trainee at the EPP Group in the European Parliament.
Previously, she worked at REVOLVE, where she contributed to sustainability communication projects co-funded by the European Union. She also has experience in journalism, having worked for an online newspaper, and has been actively involved in European youth and mobility initiatives. She served as Secretary of AEGEE Catania and was a member of the EUNICE Students’ Board at the University of Catania. Her international experience also includes an Erasmus+ traineeship at the European Studies Unit (ESU) of the University of Liège, where she conducted research on European governance and policies and strategic trade control. Her main interests include press and media freedom, censorship, and EU relations with Russia.
She is a native Italian speaker and is fluent in English, French and Spanish. She is currently improving her Russian.
