Christina Langhorst
Christina Langhorst, born in 1978, is Coordinator of International Economic Policy in the Department of Political Consulting at Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation in Berlin. She holds a degree in Economics and has studied economics and political science at Trier University and the Institut d´Etudes Politiques de Bordeaux, France. During her studies she has worked for different international think tanks such as the OECD Development Centre, Paris, the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and the European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes (EADI). Her work focuses on international trade policy, the economic effects of globalisation and global governance issues. She has authored a number of policy papers especially on trade policy. Currently, Christina Langhorst is working on the effects of the financial and economic crises on trade policy.
