Anastasia Sarakenidou

Intern

Anastasia Sarakenidou joined the Martens Centre in May 2025. She holds a degree in Political Sciences from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has specialised in European Studies at Maastricht University. Her academic and professional journey reflects a strong interest in European affairs, diplomacy, and institutional policymaking.

In 2024, she completed an internship at the General Consulate of Greece in Hamburg, where she focused on diplomatic affairs, consular support, and strengthening Greek-German cultural ties. 

A native Greek speaker, Anastasia is fluent in English, French, and German, and has an intermediate knowledge of Spanish, which further enhances her ability to engage in multilingual and multicultural environments.
