Ana completed her undergraduate degree in Biology with distinction and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, focusing on environmental issues, scientific research, and policy priorities such as the circular economy, biodiversity, food safety, and air and water quality. Her active political involvement includes being an International Committee Member and holding various leadership roles at the University of Maribor, including serving as the president of the Student Council and participating in commissions for research and international cooperation. Ana was also one of the winners of the Schuman Essay Competition in 2023. This experience, coupled with her work in environmental initiatives such as the CI-YOU: Circular Economy Youth Leaders program, underscores her dedication to policy and research in both political and ecological domains. She speaks Slovene, English, and Croatian fluently, along with basic knowledge of Italian and German.
