Amr Hamzawy
Amr Hamzawy, PhD, is Research Director and Senior
Associate at the Carnegie Middle East Center, Beirut. His
research interests include the changing dynamics of political
participation in the Arab world and the role of Islamist
movements in Arab politics. He is co-author, with Nathan J.
Brown, of Between Religion and Politics, published in 2010,
and the author of The Arab Future–Contemporary Debates
on Democracy, Political Islam, and Resistance, published in
2010 (in Arabic).
