Alejandro Puigrefagut

Alejandro Puigrefagut Pla graduated with a BA in International Relations from the University of Navarra (Spain), and a MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialisation in the EU Neighbourhood at the College of Europe (Poland). During his years of study, he attended various on-site programmes and conferences on international relations at the Tongji University (China), the Catholic University of America (US) and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel).
From 2017 to 2021, he collaborated with the Centre for Global Affairs & Strategic Studies; a foreign affairs think tank for geopolitical analysis. In 2020, he was an intern at the liberal think tank Fundación Civismo in Madrid. In 2021, he worked as an intern in the Strategy Unit of the EPP Group in the European Parliament.
His fields of interest for research are the EU neighbourhood, migration and EU foreign policy.
He speaks fluent Spanish, Catalan, English, intermediate French and has a basic knowledge of Italian.
