WMCES-EAD: “Perspectives of Christian Democracy in Europe”

Currently, many elderly people in the Czech Republic are exposed to populists. The benefits of European integration are often questioned. This conference organised by the Martens Centre and EAD, together with members of the Association of Christian Elders as participants, aims to present the European Union from the perspective of the elderly. In the lecture blocks, we will focus on current European topics such as the security situation, the future of green policy, the stability of health and social systems. We will also discuss the values and program topics of the EPP and ESU, and try to strengthen the positive perception of the benefits of European integration among older citizens. The conference will have an international format.
