Oleksandra Antypenko
Intern
Oleksandra Antypenko is a legal graduate from Ukraine, holding a double LL.M. degree (cum laude) in EU Law and Human Rights from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Mykolas Romeris University in Lithuania. She also completed an academic exchange at the University of Vienna, where she focused on EU Law, International Humanitarian Law, and International Development. Her academic interests include Ukraine-EU integration, security and defense, public international law, protection of digital rights, and the right to freedom of expression.
Before joining the Martens Centre, Oleksandra interned at the National Agency on Corruption Prevention of Ukraine, where she worked in the Department for Legislative Analysis, assessing Ukrainian laws for corruption risks. She also interned at the European People’s Party Group in the European Parliament, where she supported the work of the Legislative Coordination Unit by assisting in the coordination of parliamentary work across committees and preparing documents for the Chief Whip of the Party.
