Emanuele Canegrati

Dr. Emanuele Canegrati is an economist at the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers, focusing on Next Generation EU Fund. He is also a member of Collegio degli Esperti at the National Council for Economics and Labour (CNEL).

Before joining the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Canegrati had work experiences at the Budget Office of the Italian Senate, at the Chamber of Deputies, at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Ministry of Economic Development. He had also work experiences in the private sector at KPMG and HSBC Investment Bank.

Canegrati holds a PhD in Public Economics and Finance from the Catholic University of Milan (Italy) and was a Visiting Researcher at the Suntory and Toyota International Centres for Economics and Related Disciplines of the London School of Economics and Political Science (United Kingdom) and at the Luxembourg Income Study Office (Luxembourg).
