Andreja Valič Zver
Dr. Andreja Valič Zver is a historian and the director of the Study Centre for National Reconciliation in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She has cooperated on many projects on history, human rights and history education. She is the author of monographies, texts, textbooks and handbooks.
She was an assistant in the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana and the president of the History Teachers Association of Slovenia (2003 – 2008). She was also a member of the Executive Board October (2011 – 2015) of the Platform of European Memory and Conscience.
Dr. Andreja Valič Zver organised and managed the international project Human Rights and History Education (2005 – 2008), the meeting of Slovene history teachers Human rights, totalitarian regimes and history teaching (2006) and the international conference of history teachers Human Rights and History Education (2007).
She is the current president of the council of Jože Pučnik Institute , a president of the Archival Commission of the Republic of Slovenia and a Management Board member in the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights.
