A little over a year ago, Europeans were asked to stay home to hinder the spread of COVID-19. Recent tightening of lockdown measures in Belgium and other countries seem to have delayed yet again the dream of an imminent return to normal life; But at least we now have a vaccine!

Vaccine diplomacy was the topic of a Defence Dialogue episode, while a blog post focused on the EU’s efforts to contribute to vaccination in Eastern Europe. We also discussed issues tied to an important day in March: Women’s Day! With an event on gender equality featuring Frances Fitzgerald, the newest EPP Group Vice-President, and an interview with Agnieszka Pomaska, Vice-President of EPP Women, we aimed to contribute to this vital topic. On the foreign policy front, we provided a series of takes on EU-Chinese relations, the digital threat posed by China, and Russian civil society.
