Brexit: Reconciling Different Perspectives

The Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies and Open Europe have the pleasure to invite you to their joint event on 10 April 2018. Recent progress on the Brexit transition period was a decisive step with regard to issues which are of vital interest for both the European Union and the United Kingdom. However, a set of open questions on the future relationship between both sides remain to be addressed within a strict timeline.

The public event brings together prominent politicians and experts from the think-tank sector from both sides of the Channel to discuss the ongoing Brexit negotiations on transition and the future partnership. What can be the final compromise for the Irish border? Is the EU-27 fully united in its negotiating approach? What are we to expect in the upcoming months? Join our panel of experts to discuss these important questions.
