Online Symposium: “AI and Democracy”

In future, political decision-makers in Europe and around the world will make decisions increasingly on the basis of information created with help of artificial intelligence (AI). AI can process and analyse large amounts of data at breakneck speed. Moreover, AI can accordingly predict faults and errors and simulate human behaviour. But AI can also deceptively recreate countless social media profiles, enter chat conversations, and thus quickly influence public opinions or spread fake news. Together with our panelist Mic Hirschbrich, Julia Reuss, Viktor Mayer-Schönberger and Armin Grunwald, we will be exploring the future implications of AI in politics, business, and society.
