Davide Marcantoni

Davide Marcantoni grew up in Milan, where he graduated from the Catholic University of the Holy Heart. He holds a BA in International Relations and a MA in International and European Politics. After a one-year Masters’s course of specialisation in Middle Eastern Studies at the Graduate School of Economics and International relations (ASERI), he moved to Paris where he was a four-month visiting student at the EHESS, where he followed seminars in anthropological studies.
He has previous experience in the diplomatic sector, as an intern at the US General Consulate in Milan, and in geopolitical and geostrategic analysis through his collaboration with the Italian think tank, Centro Studi Geopolitica.info.
His main political research interests are focused on Political Islam, the Islamic religion, migration phenomena, and EU foreign policy.
He can speak Italian, English, and has basic knowledge of French.
